The 2024 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour - Futures tournament at Pompano Beach came to an exciting conclusion, bringing together incredible talent, fierce competition, and unforgettable moments on the sand. With the stunning Florida coastline as the backdrop, the tournament showcased top-tier international beach volleyball and proved once again why the sport continues to captivate athletes and fans alike.
On the women’s side, Team USA dominated the podium. Xolani Hodel and Kim Hildreth rose to the occasion and took home gold, reflecting on their journey to victory: “Our first match, we got our legs underneath us, got some connection going, and I think it really built up throughout the entire tournament to finish with the win.” For Hildreth, the win was even more special: “As a Florida native, I knew I had to play, and it felt awesome to take it home.”
The men’s bracket also delivered thrilling performances, with USA’s Tim Brewster and Logan Webber earning the top spot. Reflecting on their success, Brewster shared, “We had a long tournament, but we were able to consistently get it done, which was awesome.” Webber added, “We communicated really well, made good adjustments for the wind, and dialed in our offense and defense. It proved pretty successful.”
This event was about more than just crowning champions; it was a celebration of international volleyball and the growing excitement around the Beach Pro Tour.
